Job Description

Home Care Agency is seeking a qualified Per Diem New York State Registered Nurse to conduct PCA/HHA training for new hires, assist with HR onboarding paperwork, and verify identification to support fraud prevention efforts. Must be willing to travel to our Vestal and Syracuse offices. RN PCA Trainer Responsibilities Conduct PCA/HHA training and orientation for new aides. Verify applicants' identification and ensure the individual matches the presented identification prior to sign-in. Complete and verify required HR onboarding paperwork. Educate new hires on company policies and procedures. Demonstrate required clinical skills and ensure trainees successfully complete all required competencies. RN Trainer Qualifications Current, valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Minimum of 1 year of DOH-licensed home care experience ( must be clearly listed on your resume ). Tech savvy and proficient with computers, including email, Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint), PDFs, and other basic computer applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Vestal and Syracuse offices. Required Availability Must be able to provide availability at least one month in advance. Available to work 9:00 AM-5:00 PM for 5-12 consecutive weekdays per month. Candidates available to start ASAP will be given priority consideration. $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
