Key Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York Previous experience in a school health office, pediatrics, or similar setting preferred Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to implement care plans and respond swiftly to health emergencies Comfortable working independently with excellent organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct care for students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions Maintain accurate health records and confidential documentation Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff, providing health education and guidance Collaborate with staff on safety procedures and emergency response plans Monitor communicable diseases and coordinate with public health authorities as necessary
