Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel position with flexible scheduling options tailored to fit your lifestyle. 40-hour work week, allowing for meaningful downtime to enjoy everything Cortland and the surrounding region offer.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing. At least one year of recent experience in PACU and PreOp nursing environments. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical and recovery settings. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate care to surgical patients during pre- and post-operative phases. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient safety and outcomes. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, educate patients and families, and document patient progress. Respond efficiently to post-anesthesia emergencies and changes in patient status. Uphold the highest standards in infection control and patient confidentiality.
