Child Health Care Associates is busy, two location pediatrics' practice (the offices are located in East Syracuse and Liverpool). CHCA has an excellent team of doctors and nurses. We offer great benefits and a generous time off package! One weekend a month/one holiday per year required as needed. Opening is for a full-time position. Job requires travel to both offices, but location preferences can be considered upon hire. The RN is responsible for performing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patients' health and wellness.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
1. Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight 2. Giving immunizations to all ages of children 3. Taking medical histories 4. Entering patient information in the EMR system 5. Scheduling appointments 6. Keeping the MD on time by prioritizing tasks 7. Patient triage 8. Keeping patient rooms clean and stocked 9. Assist the MD in any necessary procedures 10. Taking patient requests for prescription refills 11. PPD Reads 12. Works between both Liverpool and Kirkville locations based on staffing needSKILLS:
Customer Service Good Judgement Time Management Professionalism Written and Oral Communication Skills Basic Computer SkillsEDUCATION AND TRAINING
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- RN, NYS License
- Active CPR certification required
EXPERIENCE
- EMR experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required; extensive training provided
