Clinical Nurse I: ED Observation 36hrs/week, DAYS
Job Description
Work in the Float Pool department on day shifts, earning $68,640 - $70,699.20 annually. The clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening, recognizing the value of each team member's work. Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care following policies and regulations. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment. Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans. Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards. Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are required.
