Job Description

Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 12 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months. Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. 12 months gap required between for Staff at

Additional Details:
Lab Completion:
All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience:
Phlebotomy and IV placement required. 1 year of recent experience. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, peripheral line care/management, O2 protocol, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric cardiac unit patient population. Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in). PCTs on all units assist with vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend. No call. No more than 1 week RTO per contract.
Floating Requirements:
Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units.

: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 7 days maximum time off.
