The School Nurse Contract is a 36-week assignment in Greene, NY, offering up to $55 per hour. The role requires a licensed RN to implement seizure action plans, provide emergency care, and support student health during school and bus transportation. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor seizure action plans for students requiring medication management. Provide emergency medical care and support within the school setting. Supervise and assist students during bus transportation, especially those requiring seizure medication administration. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure student health and safety. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications:
NY RN License required. Ability to implement Seizure Action Plan. Excellent communication and emergency response skills. Must be able to handle physically demanding situations, including supervising students and responding swiftly to medical needs. Background check and compliance with facility requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum 1 year of school nursing experience preferred. Experience with seizure medication management on buses preferred.
