Position Overview We are seeking experienced Med Surg and Stepdown RNs for 13-week contracts across top healthcare facilities in Central New York (Utica, Rome, and Hamilton). Multiple shift options are available, ranging from General Med Surg and Stepdown/Telemetry to Stroke Stepdown and Acute Care settings.

MS / Stroke Stepdown (6:30p-7a Nights) | 64-Bed Unit |

EPIC EMR

Rome, NY:

MS Stepdown / Telemetry (7p-7a Nights) | 6:1 Ratio | Paragon /

Pyxis EMR Hamilton, NY:

General Med Surg (7a-7p Days & 7p-7a Nights available) | 7:1 Ratio | Sorian EMR Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adult/geriatric populations (and occasional pediatric patients in select units). Manage diagnoses such as stroke, CHF, COPD, renal/dialysis, post-op care, DKA, and general medical/surgical conditions. Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, feeding tubes, N/G tubes, and point-of-care devices. Maintain accurate charting via unit-specific electronic medical records (EPIC, Paragon, Sorian).

Candidate Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 1-2+ years of recent Med Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience. Recent travel experience required for select locations.

Licensure & Certifications:

Active New York RN License AHA BLS (Required across all units) NIHSS Certification (Required for Utica & Rome locations)

ACLS & PALS

(Required or strongly preferred depending on location)
