Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year recent experience in Med-Surg and/or Telemetry nursing Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to patient changes Strong clinical assessment and patient education abilities Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced settings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, adhering to hospital policies and best practices Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to clinical changes promptly Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Document patient assessments, care delivered, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Participate in shift handoffs, interdisciplinary rounds, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives
