This contract position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference on a med-surg/telemetry unit, working alongside a collaborative clinical team to deliver outstanding service and comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
Active RN license with good standing Current experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing settings Proficiency in monitoring, assessing, and responding to patient conditions Experience with patient charting using electronic medical records (EMR) Effective communication skills and strong clinical judgment BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible schedule options, including day and night shifts Full-time hours with variable shift lengths based on unit needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on med-surg and telemetry units Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting any abnormalities promptly Assess, plan, and document patient status and progress Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Educate patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and recovery plans Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment Enjoy the benefits of working in a supportive, dynamic setting while earning competitive weekly compensation between $2200 and $2400.
