Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract position offers flexible scheduling, with options for either 8 or 10 hour shifts.

The role includes call requirements:

one weekday every two weeks, as well as participation in a weekend call rotation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Active RN license, in good standing Proven experience working as an Operating Room RN Demonstrated competence in Ortho, Da Vinci, Neuro, General, and GYN surgical procedures Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, acute care environment Effective communication abilities, working collaboratively with surgical teams

Schedule:

Choice of 8 or 10 hour shifts Call duties: one weekday (every two weeks) and rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes Conduct preoperative assessments and support postoperative recovery Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and facility protocols Accurately document patient care and interventions Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency situations as needed
