Job Description Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN)•
Residential & Day Habilitation Programs Salary Range:
$48•50 per hour (based on experience)
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
Licenses/Certifications Required:
Active RN license in New York State CPR/BLS Certification Valid NYS Driver's License (preferred)
Skills Required:
Strong oral and written communication Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Familiarity with adaptive equipment and wheelchairs Flexibility to work across multiple program sites
Schedule Information:
Full-time:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM On-call availability during evenings or weekends as needed (
Note:
On-call does not require on-site presence; remote support is acceptable)
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate health care services for individuals in residential and day programs Issue medical referrals and follow up on health concerns Conduct staff training in medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and other health topics Administer medications and supervise AMAP-certified staff Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews Maintain accurate medical documentation and MARs Provide emergency care and first aid Supervise LPNs and support less experienced RNs Transport individuals to medical appointments as needed Conduct assessments and provide in-services Support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings
