Navy Blue Position Overview Prolink Healthcare is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Buffalo, NY. This opportunity offers a specialized neonatal environment with a lower-acuity feeder-grower population, allowing nurses to provide focused, individualized care in a supportive NICU setting. NICU Unit Details 14-bed NICU Level II Trauma Center Average daily census: 5 Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1-1:3 depending on acuity Feeder-grower patient population No triage beds No call requirement Weekend requirement: At least every 3rd weekend Holiday requirement: As needed

MBU Patient Population The NICU primarily cares for feeder-grower patients requiring specialized neonatal nursing care focused on: Growth and development Feeding Neonatal monitoring Patient progression Preparation for discharge Individualized family education and support Requirements Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required Additional NICU experience preferred Active NRP certification required Previous Epic experience required Strong neonatal assessment and patient-care skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with the NICU team Why Prolink Healthcare?
