  • 16:30) Job Summary Join our dynamic pediatric ambulatory care team as an Ambulatory Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of children and their families.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient nursing services, ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations tailored to pediatric patients. Administer medications, injections, and treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy under physician supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy. Assist with pediatric procedures including suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, and aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments. Manage electronic health records accurately documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams. Educate children and their families on health management, medication administration, nutrition, and preventive care strategies. Support triage activities by prioritizing urgent cases and providing guidance for emergency or acute pain management situations in outpatient settings.
