Melville, NY Job Details Full-time $55 an hour 5 days ago Qualifications School experience CPR Certification RN License Tube feeding BLS Certification Full Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) — 1:1 School Nurse | Melville, NY | $55/hr Full School Day + Bus | Monday-Friday | Anticipated September Start | W-2 US Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN for a 1:1 medically fragile student placement in the Melville area for the upcoming school year. The Role You'll provide continuous 1:1 nursing care throughout the student's school day, including: Riding the bus with the student to and from school (bus time is paid time) G-tube feedings via feeding pump (morning and lunch) Seizure monitoring and administration of emergency seizure medication per physician's orders Oxygen saturation monitoring via pulse oximeter; supplemental oxygen as needed Oral suctioning as needed Oral feeding of one snack daily Personal care and hygiene, including diapering Escorting and monitoring the student during OT, speech, and vision therapy sessions End-of-day handoff report to the family's home care staff Pay & Schedule $55.00 per hour — W-2, weekly direct deposit Full school-day hours plus paid bus legs School calendar — nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off Requirements Active NYS RN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with G-tube feeding and seizure management (or willingness to complete orientation with our clinical team) Pediatric, school, or home care experience preferred Physical exam and required health clearances (we'll guide you through credentialing) Why This Assignment One student, one school, real continuity of care.
