Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic clinical environment by providing crucial cardiovascular operating room support as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity calls for professionals experienced in CVOR nursing who are ready to assist surgical teams and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current RN license (unencumbered and valid for practice) At least one year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting BLS and ACLS certification required Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations and rapidly changing environments Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, cardiac surgical procedures, and OR safety protocols Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Prepare the CVOR for surgical cases, including instrumentation, equipment, and sterile fields Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other health professionals to deliver seamless patient care Assist during cardiac and vascular surgeries, circulating and scrubbing as needed Monitor patient status and respond effectively to emergencies or changes Document all aspects of care accurately in medical records Support infection control practices and maintain equipment integrity Ensure patients and families receive clear communication regarding procedures and post-operative care If you thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment and have expertise in cardiovascular procedures, we encourage you to apply and make an impact with your specialized skills.
