A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality home care services throughout Ulster and surrounding counties. Responsibilities Conduct admission assessments and biannual reassessments for patients. Establish and implement individualized plans of care based on nursing assessments, patient needs, and physician orders. Provide education and support to patients, families, and paraprofessional staff. Conduct as-needed nursing visits for patients requiring additional support. Communicate changes in patients' conditions, treatments, and medications promptly to the agency. Nurse Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN). Current New York State Registered Nurse license and registration. Home care experience is strongly preferred . Reliable vehicle required to travel to patient homes. Willingness to travel throughout Ulster and surrounding counties. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
