Job Description Ulster BOCES is seeking Registered Professional Nurses for substitute, on-call, less than half time positions to assist the School Physician or other higher level health care professional and to provide care for school age children in an educational setting. NYS license to practice and fingerprinting required. All Civil Service laws, rules and regulations apply.

Hourly rate:

$44.00 per hour

Civil Service Classification:

Non-Competitive. Merit and fitness examination does not apply.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide care for and administer medications to school age children in a Educational setting.

WORK SCHEDULE

September through June

Per diem (varies)

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Perform exams, administer medications, maintain, record and report required documentation of care provided to children. Job Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a license and current registration issued by the State of New York to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
