AM Schedule:

3 shifts per week | 34.5 hours/week (11.5-hour shifts) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in high-acuity situations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Respond to obstetric emergencies and critical situations Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures Administer medications and support conscious sedation as required Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery / Maternal & Child Health experience Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Experience in high-acuity hospital or acute care settings Education Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Required Licensure & Certifications Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Primary Source Verification of NYS RN Registration (NYSED) AHA BLS Certification
