Works in hospital recovery rooms, monitoring and caring for post-operative patients, and communicating with patients' family members. RESPONSIBILITIES
Critical care, clinical competence Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care to pediatric and adult patients Recognizes and responds appropriately to patient change in condition such as Cardiac rhythm or respiratory distress in the post operative phase.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1+ years' of acute care experienceEXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Critical care experienceEDUCATION REQUIRED BSN
from an accredited school of nursingCERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED NYS RN
license and registration requiredAHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
