Job Summary:
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide comprehensive nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. You'll use your critical thinking, technical skills, and a holistic approach to deliver purposeful and effective care during life-threatening events. Your strong interpersonal skills will also be vital in managing crises and supporting patients and their families. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Current NYS RN license One and a half (1.5) years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background. Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development across the life span, with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize care plans and delivery. Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred. Required within specified timeframes post-hire/start date: Successful completion of the CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire. Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date. Successful completion of an approved critical care course, ACLS, and PALS within one year of position start date.

It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
