OR Nurse (RN)

Key Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted RN license Recent experience working in an Operating Room environment (RN-OR) Comprehensive knowledge of operating room protocols, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation Ability to circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases Clear, professional communication and strong critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to deliver top-tier patient care Prepare the OR suite and ensure surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile, organized, and readily available Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures, responding promptly to any changes Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort, confidentiality, and compliance with best practices at all times Maintain accurate documentation and uphold stringent safety and infection control standards Assist with post-operative care, including patient assessments and education as needed This role is an excellent fit for well-rounded OR RNs eager to advance their professional skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
