Job Description

Warren Center is hiring an CNA Program Instructor (RN) in Queensbury, NY.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Instructor will work with the Program Coordinator on the presentation of the curriculum. This person works collaboratively to teach lecture and lab content and to coordinate clinical training and supervision of the course participants. This person will also be responsible to supervise the students on the units during their clinical experience. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one (1) year in a long-term care setting Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment About us: Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs. Warren Center is a proud member of the Centers Health Care consortium.
