1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring NY licensure and proficiency in advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and EUS. Details Endoscopy unit at a hospital, handling procedural-based cases including pancreatic, lung, colon, and gastric CA, polyps, Barrett's esophagus, and CBD stones/strictures Performs and supports specialized procedures such as EUS, ERCP, Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Manometry, and Fibroscan Utilizes specialized equipment including ERBE, Olympus scopes/processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, and Manometry Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with varying days off based on department needs On-call responsibilities approximately 4-6 shifts per month covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays Floating required to PreAnesthesia/PACU as needed Requirements Active NY RN license required in hand BLS and ACLS certification required; CGRN certification preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement required Epic charting experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, and post-procedure recovery care Experience with
