ASAP • Starting Salary $43.26 per hour RN NYS License required, BLS certified Experience with school-aged children, including students with disabilities preferred. Knowledgeable of

CDC, OHSA, NYSDOH

guidelines as they pertain to disease and or illness including COVID. Maintains records and performs screenings as per N.Y.S guidelines. Provides basic healthcare and first aid to students that are ill, medically fragile and/or inured. Provides treatment, documents injuries and maintains ongoing student medical records. Administers daily medications. Knowledgeable of diabetic care and seizure protocol including medicine administration. Must have superior nursing skills to include experience in emergency procedures, anaphylaxis, injuries and general triage. Must be highly skilled communicator, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be collaborative in nature and contribute to the health and well being of the school community. May require chaperoning field trips. May require riding the bus in AM and PM with select students.
