Director of Nursing Position Summary Precision Care Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our exceptional surgical team. We are hiring immediately for our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center featuring four operating rooms specializing in Orthopedic, Spine, Total Joint, and Podiatry procedures. The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience throughout the surgical process. Essential Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in accordance with physician orders, established clinical standards, and facility policies. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout the surgical experience. Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient surgical procedures. Serve as a clinical resource and exercise sound judgment in prioritizing patient care and managing complex surgical cases. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, infection prevention, and patient safety standards. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care. Participate in staffing assignments and daily operational activities to support efficient workflow. Monitor patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance clinical excellence and operational performance. Assist in maintaining standards related to operating room practices, sterilization, decontamination, and associated clinical areas. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in committee work, staff education, and other projects as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required) Current ACLS certification (required) Previous Operating Room nursing experience (required) Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience (preferred) Orthopedic surgical experience (preferred) Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Join Precision Care Surgery Center?
