Smithtown, NY Job Details Part-time $80 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Outpatient experience Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Nurse Practitioner (NP) Cardiology Advanced practice provider Acute care experience Full Job Description Part-Time Nurse Practitioner — Outpatient Cardiology & Family Medicine NYCMC is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient practice in Smithtown, with a primary focus on cardiology and additional coverage in family medicine. This is a flexible 20-30 hour per week schedule with alternating weekends — a strong fit if you are looking to supplement a current position or want steady part-time hours in an office-based setting. Schedule 20-30 hours per week, flexible Alternating weekends (Saturday or Sunday) Weekday shifts available What you will do See cardiology patients in an outpatient office setting, including new consults and follow-up visits Manage cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, arrhythmia, and coronary artery disease Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress test results Support the family medicine side of the practice with physicals, acute visits, and chronic disease management Work alongside supervising cardiologists and clinical support staff What we are looking for Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license Cardiology experience preferred, but not required At least 1 year of nurse practitioner experience; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered Comfortable managing a full outpatient schedule Availability for weekday and alternating weekend shifts Compensation and benefits $80.00 per hour Malpractice coverage provided
