Required Skills Current New York State RN licensure Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) with ability to recertify Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care hospital setting of comparable size or trauma level Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong understanding of utilization review, clinical documentation, and care coordination Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams No history of professional license or certification suspensions or investigations No involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims Verification of legal right to work in the U.S. Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check Nice to Have Skills Experience working in large hospital systems or trauma centers Prior exposure to CDI programs and related documentation practices Additional certifications such as CCM, CPHQ, or related credentials Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred At least 2 years of recent hospital RN experience, with specific focus on utilization management or CDI roles Other Requirements This position is scheduled for day shifts, 8 hours per shift Start date: July 6, 2026 Willingness to travel as needed for training or temporary assignments Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other approved expenses Step into a rewarding role where your expertise can influence patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
