Summary of Position:
Working in conjunction with the scheduling coordinator and all patient services staff under the direction of the RN Office Manager, the RN Supervising Field Nurse will: Ensure quality and safe delivery of home health care services Implement current nursing practices as defined by New York State Registered Nurse licensure Promote effective written and verbal communication with colleagues, clients and health care professionals Promote education for home health aides, clients and families Supervise and train home care workers
Qualifications:
Candidate would ideally have experience in a clinical environment, preferably in a community setting Can work independently Maintain strong organizational and communication skills
Requirements:
Registered Professional Nurse with a current license to practice nursing from New York State Department of Education. At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or residential health care facility is required. Home care experience and exhibited instructional abilities desired. Valid New York State drivers license
Job Type:
Full-time Travel will be required for this position.
