Job Description

The Maintenance Worker I position requires an individual that is responsible for daily rounds throughout the complex noting and repairing all items logged at each department location. The individual also will be involved with other day to day operational projects and assist other facilities staff as assigned. Qualifications /

Education /
Skills Required:
High school diploma required. Driver's License required. Good mechanical knowledge, vocational school helpful. Ability to follow written instructions in reference to work orders, constructing, installations, etc. Ability to safely use hand and some power tools. Ability to communicate well with managers, co-workers, hospital staff, patients and visitors. Conducts him/herself as a self-directed professional, courteous attitude, works independently with minimal supervision, and strive for continuous quality improvement. NYS certification for Asbestos O & M preferred.
