Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment as a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are confident in their ability to deliver critical care to a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour night shifts per week
Required Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum of two years' recent experience in an ICU setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders and established protocols Monitor, interpret, and document vital signs and lab results accurately and efficiently Respond rapidly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions as needed Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and support Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in critical care
