Working in a Cath Lab role at a well-established heart and vascular center, you will gain unique exposure to hospital-based cardiac testing and invasive cardiovascular procedures for both inpatient and outpatient clients. This assignment offers considerable professional growth as you collaborate with skilled clinicians across two invasive procedure rooms and contribute to 24-hour STEMI coverage. Here, you'll expand your resume with exposure to advanced technologies, specialized interventions, and dynamic teamwork practices. Between shifts, enjoy exploring scenic trails, local eateries, and the renowned natural beauty the area has to offer.
Schedule and Hours:
4x10-hour shifts (Days) 40 hours per week 13-week contract
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Adaptable and able to work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with and monitor cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiovascular procedures Provide comprehensive care and education to cardiac patients pre- and post-procedure Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital safety protocols Respond promptly to STEMI activations and emergent situations
