Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on Med Surg and Telemetry units in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role is well-suited for registered nurses who demonstrate clinical expertise, commitment to safety, and adaptability to rapidly changing patient needs.
Schedule & Hours:
Full-time schedule, specific shifts tailored to facility needs
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) or Telemetry units Proficiency in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and care coordination Strong communication and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willing to obtain prior to start) Ability to document care accurately and promptly using electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive, individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations in Med Surg and Telemetry Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient condition to physicians and healthcare team members Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update comprehensive patient care plans Educate patients and families on care processes, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
