Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Take the next step in your nursing career with a dynamic contract opportunity focused on Stepdown, Med Surg, and Telemetry care. Work in a setting where your experience with acute patient care, advanced monitoring, and responsive clinical interventions directly impacts patient outcomes.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert care to Stepdown, Med Surg, and Telemetry patients, with an assignment ratio of 6:1 on night shift Carry out detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs Administer medications with precision, ensuring safety and timely delivery Utilize strong clinical judgment for continuous telemetry monitoring and appropriate patient interventions Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, maintaining clear and professional communication Support patient mobility and safety through appropriate pushing, pulling, and lifting techniques Accurately document care, noting changes in status and treatments provided
Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license with experience in Telemetry and Med Surg settings Recent Stepdown nursing experience strongly preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Demonstrated skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and critical thinking Physical ability for essential duties such as lifting, pushing, and pulling patients or equipment Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills This contract position offers the chance to expand your skills in a supportive, team-based environment, working closely with peers who share your dedication to exceptional patient care.
