Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled emergency room nurse to provide expert care in a dynamic, 48-treatment space emergency department. This contract position offers night shifts on a 3x12 schedule, allowing for consistency and ample time off between shifts. This role is best suited for an experienced RN with a passion for emergency medicine and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

Schedule:

Night shifts 3x12 hour schedule

What's Needed:

Current, active RN license Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department Proficiency in triage, rapid assessment, and stabilization of diverse patient populations Ability to manage a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Strong critical thinking and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Demonstrated capability working night shifts in a busy ED setting

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to patients with acute and emergent health needs Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to carry out care plans and respond to urgent situations Perform accurate triage, ongoing assessment, and documentation Administer medications and therapies per provider orders and protocols Educate patients and families to support understanding and recovery Maintain high standards for patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control
