Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent nursing experience in Interventional Radiology settings Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedural safety protocols Proficient IV skills and cardiac monitoring experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Effective communication and compassion for patients and families Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic procedural environments

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile and safety protocols Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, responding promptly to changes and initiating interventions as needed Administer conscious sedation and medications under protocol and provider direction Circulate within the procedure suite and provide direct patient care, including assessment, documentation, and post-procedure monitoring Educate patients and families regarding procedures, follow-up care, and discharge instructions Collaborate with radiology technologists and other multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes This contract position offers you the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art procedural suite and impact patient recovery meaningfully.
