Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor students during clinical experiences in an 8:1 setting for the Nurse Assisting course. Develop and refine clinical experience opportunities and instruction schedules in collaboration with classroom teachers. Coordinate closely with school staff and agency personnel to ensure quality educational experiences. Regularly assess and document students clinical progress. Address any additional tasks requested by the Nurse Aide Teacher, supporting the overall programs needs.

Qualifications:

Valid New York State RN license required. Eligibility for the Civil Service title of School Nurse. Recent experience in long-term care or a nursing home. Enthusiasm for working with high school students pursuing Certified Nurse Assisting careers. Strong communication and organizational skills.
