Qualifications/Experience:
Valid RN license Minimum 1-2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong IV skills and experience with moderate sedation Excellent critical thinking, multitasking, and communication abilities Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic health record systems
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing interventional radiology procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout procedures Administer intravenous medications, fluids, and monitor sedation Assist with prepping and recovering patients before and after procedures Uphold the highest standards of patient advocacy and quality care
