Requirements:
Must have NYS Certification as a Technology Education Teacher We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: New York State Technology Education Certification (grades preK-12). The ideal candidate will be able to instruct and monitor students in the proper use of various tools within the technology lab such as; drill press, band saw, power sander, miter saw, hand saw, adhesives, etc. as needed for projects within the Webster Technology curriculum. Excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative. Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved technology curriculum. Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the technology program, ensuring that all students are able to access appropriate text and communicate understanding through writing. Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference. Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the studentsSalary:
