ATC Healthcare Position Overview ATC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The RN will provide clinical oversight, nursing assessments, and care coordination within community-based programs that promote independence, dignity, and person-centered care. Candidates must have prior experience working within OPWDD-regulated services. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing health evaluations for individuals served. Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans. Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, policies, and documentation standards. Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, behavioral health providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Review and monitor medication administration, treatment plans, and physician orders. Provide training and guidance to direct support professionals on health-related needs. Respond to medical concerns, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up. Maintain accurate nursing records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Participate in audits, quality assurance reviews, and compliance activities. Advocate for individuals' health and wellness needs while supporting community integration and independence. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (preferably in developmental disabilities or community-based care). Prior experience working within OPWDD services is required. Strong understanding of OPWDD regulations, documentation, and compliance standards. Experience in care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration. Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and organizational skills. Proficient in electronic health records and nursing documentation systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for field-based work). Preferred Experience Direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Background in residential, day program, or supported living environments. Experience with incident reporting systems and medication oversight protocols.
