Summary:
Assists, provides, and coordinates nursing care for patients to obtain and reach optimal health. Participates with the care teams in Summa Health Medical Group to provide patient focused care. Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Education Required:
a. Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred b. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio 2.
Experience & Training Required:
a. Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Ohio b. Meets continuing education requirements in order to maintain license c. One (1) year of clinical patient care experience d. Additional related previous experience may be required for various practices e. CPR certification required 3.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and clinical care b. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and EMR c. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care d. Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings e. Maintains HIPAA confidentiality f. Must pass yearly clinical skill competencies g. Required ability to handle bodily fluids and possible exposure to communicable disease. h.
