1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Part-Time ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and prior travel experience. Details Part-time ICU position at a community hospital Night shift schedule (2x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) Every other weekend (EOW) required Floating required within skillset and to Galion and Ontario campuses as needed On-call required as needed, with 1-hour return-to-facility expectation Charting system experience required (any EMR); Epic experience preferred Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required at time of submittal Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required At least 1 year of travel experience required, 2 years preferred Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response Experience with IV therapy, arterial line, and central line management required Proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips required Respiratory/thoracic care experience including BiPAP/CPAP management and ventilator patient care required Suctioning (ETT, NT) skills required Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols required Additional Information Deliver critical care nursing services to ICU patients across multiple campuses as needed No holiday RTO or blocked schedules permitted Any missed shifts must be made up, and coverage must be arranged if scheduled to work during RTO Willingness to float to other campuses if census drops to maintain hours Smoke-free facility and campus Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before being eligible for this position Manager will conduct a phone interview prior to placement ASAP start required
