Outpatient Pulmonary Shift/Hours:
Days | 32 hours per week One day off per week based on clinic scheduleSchedule:

Nurses in our pulmonary clinics play a vital role in coordinating care for children with complex pulmonary conditions across multiple outpatient locations while supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse II to join our Outpatient Pulmonary team. This non-acute role focuses on comprehensive care coordination, patient and family education, and close collaboration with providers to ensure high-quality, family-centered care. We are seeking a nurse with a minimum of two years of nursing experience who thrives in a collaborative outpatient environment and demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills. Work Schedule 32 hours per week, day shift Ability and expectation to flex hours based on clinic schedules Afternoon clinics may extend beyond 4:30 PM; RN is expected to remain until clinic concludes Clinic coverage may include Burnet, Crestview Hills, and Union locations Key Responsibilities Provide pulmonary care coordination for patients with sleep disorders, asthma, and other pulmonary conditions Triage patient phone calls and MyChart messages, responding promptly and appropriately to patient needs Assist with clinic flow to support efficient operations and positive patient experiences Manage administrative responsibilities, including: FMLA and school forms Epic in-basket tasks MyChart message management Additional clinic-related documentation Prepare for and staff clinic sessions, including new patient intakes Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized plans of care Educate patients and families on pulmonary conditions, treatments, and home-care strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record hy Cincinnati Children's At Cincinnati Children's we come to work with one goal: to make children's health better. Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE orNLN CNEA
accredited institution requires 2+ years of experience. If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire date/RN job date and complete program within 5 years of hire/RN job date.Preferred:
