1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a NICU position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of NICU experience. Details NICU setting within a hospital environment Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Weekend rotation required, typically every 3rd weekend to align with NICU staffing model Float to inpatient units required when not needed in the NICU Shifts scheduled based on unit needs Requirements Active and unrestricted RN license in Ohio or compact license Current CPR and NRP certifications Associate degree required, BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required, 2+ years preferred Central line, PICC, and umbilical line competency required Skilled in all forms of O2 delivery including N/C, high flow, CPAP, NIV, and ventilator management G-tube and trach experience preferred but not mandatory Two references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black scrub pants required Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before being eligible for this position
