Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical interventions with telemetry monitoring. Your expertise will ensure accurate patient assessments, effective treatment plans, and seamless coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in acute care, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care within a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and review of medical histories to determine care needs. Monitor cardiac telemetry systems continuously to detect arrhythmias or other cardiac abnormalities and respond promptly. Administer medications accurately, including IV infusions, injections, and oral therapies, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Assist with diagnostic procedures such as catheterizations, laboratory specimen collection, and imaging studies. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support emergency response efforts by utilizing critical care skills in situations such as acute pain episodes or respiratory distress. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care to promote optimal recovery outcomes. Uphold infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper equipment sterilization practices.
Requirements:
18 Months of Med-Surg/Tele Perm experience 18 Months of recent Med-Surg/Tele experience
BLS/ACLS/NIHSS
Shift:
12 Hours & Nights Weekly hours : 36 HC1
Pay:
$73.00 - $81.66 per hour
