Euclid, OH Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Interpersonal skills Military BLS Certification High school diploma or GED EMT License EMT-B Full Job Description Mobile Hyperbaric Centers is seeking a dedicated hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) technician to join our innovative team specializing in multiplace HBOT for chronic and non-healing wounds. As an integral part of our mission to "Safely Heal Patients and Have Fun Doing It," you will prepare and educate patients about their treatments, operate and monitor hyperbaric chamber sessions, and accurately document patient assessments and vital signs. Additional responsibilities include safely transporting patients, maintaining clean and safe clinical environments, and ensuring all documentation is up to date in our electronic health record system. The ideal candidate possess current BLS certification, high school diploma or equivalent, is a self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, and is a team player. Having the following is preferred, but not required: EMT-B, EMT-S, EMT-P, Paramedic, LPN, Respiratory Therapist, or Active Duty Military Corpsman. Responsibilities Include:
To prepare, educate and orient patients about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Safely operate and attend the hyperbaric chamber sessions Accurately obtains and documents patient assessment and vital signs Safely transports patients to/from the hyperbaric chamber (max 50 lb. lift/assist in a wheelchair) Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record system Cleans the hyperbaric chamber, clinical equipment and patient care areas with approved cleaning agents Communicate any abnormal patient assessment findings with HBO physician Maintain accurate chamber dive log Maintain up-to-date clinical licensures Knowledge of Infection Control, HIPPA and JCHAO regulatory standards per hospital policy provided during training Positively interact with fellow staff and patients in a friendly & constructive manner Cover the center at Euclid and Medina Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent BLS Certification Ability to adhere to safety protocols Abililty to travel to our center in Medina if needed. EMT-B, EMT-S, EMT-P, Paramedic, LPN, Respiratory Therapist, or Active Duty Military Corpsman ( preferred )
