Were currently seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Emergency Department at our Galion location.

Position OverviewMeets the communication needs of the patient, family and staff. Prepares and compiles records in the facility. Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff. Provides basic nursing care to Emergency Department patients. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and facility policies and procedures and standards.

QualificationsRequired:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.

Preferred:

STNA Certification or Paramedic or EMS Certification.

Avita Galion Hospital Emergency DepartmentAvita Health System is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Casual position with monthly, weekend, and holiday requirements. Will learn both UC and PCA positions in the ED. Need to be available to work some weekends. PCA hours are 10a-10p, UC hours are 7a-4:30p and 4:30p-2a.
