40 Hours per Week Make a Meaningful Impact in Correctional Healthcare We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a correctional behavioral health team in London, Ohio . This long-term contract offers a stable weekday schedule and the opportunity to provide high-quality behavioral healthcare services in a collaborative correctional setting. Position Responsibilities Coordinate patient admissions, assessments, evaluations, and individualized treatment plans. Provide comprehensive behavioral health nursing care within your credentialed scope of practice. Assess, monitor, and manage patients with acute and complex behavioral health needs. Participate in crisis intervention and behavioral health treatment planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure continuity of care. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Assist with program development and quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate referrals and communicate with outside healthcare providers and support agencies when appropriate. Participate in staff meetings, training, and policy review activities. Qualifications Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certificate of Authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) required. Previous behavioral health, psychiatric, correctional, or mental health nursing experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
