Job Description

Patient Care:
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients.
Care Coordination:
Direct and coordinate all nursing care for your assigned patients, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient care delivery.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate data collection and ensure documentation reflects the care provided, adhering to hospital policies and timeframes.
Patient Education:
Provide timely health information and written materials to patients and their significant others, documenting these interactions.
Quality Improvement:
Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care through participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Professional Development:
Accept accountability for your practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies.
Professional Image:
Consistently project a positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
Education & Licensure:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
Continuing Education:
Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Certifications:
Continuous certification in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS). Attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain continuous certification. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio. Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
