This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity for a dedicated RNor highly experienced LPNto provide 1:1 care while making a measurable difference in a student's daily life. As the primary caregiver, you will work directly with one student, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day. Your responsibilities begin each morning with riding to school alongside the student and conclude by safely accompanying them home. Your expertise in managing tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and G-tube feedings is crucial to this assignment.

Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license (RN highly preferred; experienced LPNs considered) Demonstrated experience with trach, vent, and G-tube care in either pediatric or school settings Previous work with medically fragile or special needs children is highly desirable Capable of clear, professional communication with students, families, and school staff Dependable, compassionate, and able to adapt to a flexible daily routine

Key Responsibilities:

Provide continuous 1:1 healthcare support for a medically complex student during school hours Ride on transportation to and from school, ensuring safety and monitoring needs en route Administer daily care routines and manage emergency interventions as needed Document services, observations, and any notable changes in the student's health status Collaborate with educational and medical teams to support the student's overall well-being Enjoy the opportunity to develop close clinical relationships, provide critical care outside a hospital, and support a students ability to learn and thrive in a school setting.
